Liverpool are eyeing several transfer targets as the club prepares for a new era under incoming head coach Arne Slot.

One such target is Yuito Suzuki, a versatile forward currently playing for Danish side IF Brondby.

According to Danish news Bold, Liverpool scouts were recently in attendance for a match between Brondby and FC Midtjylland, where Suzuki showcased his talents.

The 22-year-old Japanese international has had a stellar season with Brondby, amassing 18 goal contributions in 27 games.

His versatility across the front three makes him an attractive prospect for Liverpool, who are likely to undergo significant changes with Slot's arrival.

Brondby's sporting director Carsten V. Jensen hints that Suzuki could be on the move this summer, acknowledging the possibility of the talented forward departing for a larger club.

Speaking to Bold, he said, "As a starting point, we would like to keep him, but you can never say never in this industry.

"The goal is, of course, to stay in Brondby for a slightly longer period before moving on.

"The goal is for him to play in Brondby next season."

Adding Suzuki to the squad next season might be an astute move if the can translate his hot form to the Premier League.

Why Yuito Suzuki is perfect for Liverpool transformation stage

With the return of Michael Edwards and the appointment of Richard Hughes as the club's sporting director, Liverpool are embarking on a new era with ambitious plans.

Edwards, known for his keen eye for talent and strategic recruitment, would find Suzuki to be an ideal acquisition.

Suzuki's versatility, combined with his technical abilities and goal-scoring prowess, could make him a valuable asset as Liverpool look to rebuild and strengthen their squad for the future under Arne Slot.

The forward fits perfectly the FSG model for new recruits and it would not be a surprise to see Liverpool formalise their interest with an approach in the next month or so.
